Bogart von Bothel is a gorgeous 3-year-old German Shepherd. Handsome Bogart is revealing more and more of his happy and loving self; he'll come up and lick your hand, hoping for some pets, and he loves to cuddle up with his favorite people. We were told that he did well with children in a prior home, where he was very friendly and loving with his family; as with many shepherds, he may need proper introductions when visitors come into the home. Bogart is already housebroken and crate-trained and  walks great on leash. At the rescue he enjoys going on his walks, and is curious to meet other dogs - he goes up to other big dogs to say ‘hello’ and walks great next to them (but no small dogs please). Bogart did great in playgroup: he went in calmly and seemed interested in meeting the other dogs, was social and friendly with them, and even played for a time with another dog. If you recognize that he's a gem you absolutely have to have in your life and home, then by all means submit an application for him.  He’s ready to travel near or far.
